We are looking for an efficient and organised individual to join our team as a Field Service Manager based in Larapinta QLD. You will be responsible for effectively managing a team of Field and Site-based Service Technicians. As well as, enhancing our Key/National Account Customers’ Experience by meeting and exceeding agreed KPIs.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of Service Technicians to achieve business goals.
  • Manage budget requirements to ensure service targets are achieved.
  • Conduct regular team and individual meetings (including toolbox talks) to foster development, monitor performance and KPI’s across your technician group.
  • Actively participate in sales, service, and rental meetings to address and resolve service-related issues.
  • Contribute meaningfully to customer interactions to build strong customer relationships
  • Visit key account customers on a regular call cycle to maintain service presence and present customer reports on fleet and service performance.

Requirements for success:

  • Previous service and fleet management experience within a similar industry
  • Trade certificate and/or Management certificate is preferred
  • General product knowledge of material handling equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team of technicians
  • A commercial understanding of general business concepts within a service industry, including P&L, budgets etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages - Word, Excel & Outlook
