Summary Statement:
The Team Member Relations - Specialist will assist with key human resources functions such as employee relations, accommodations, and providing support and guidance to Team Members and managers on HR-related matters while ensuing compliance with labor laws.
Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Assist with general Human Resources projects, tasks and assignments.
- Handle Team Member documents.
- Address Team Member inquiries.
- Manage accommodation process.
- Maintain files and electronic records.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Process unemployment claims.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Work with HR, legal, and other departments.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and other similar computer applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (ex. outlook, excel, word & power point, etc...)
- Ability to professionally manage a multi-line phone system.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
- Experience working in Human Resources.
- Fluent in more than one language.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- At least 6 months’ customer service experience in a similar or related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
