We’re seeking dedicated Food Service Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the patient care experience.
Your role
As a valued member of our Support Services team, you will be:
Assisting patients with menu ordering
Preparing, delivering, and serving meals with care and attention to detail
Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for patients and staff
Assisting with general cleaning and cleaning of equipment, kitchen duties including assistance with stock management
About you
We’re looking for people who are:
Friendly, reliable, team-oriented and committed to safe practices and quality standards
Experienced in food service, cleaning, hospitality, or similar roles (preferable)
Hold a Food Handler’s Certificate (or willing to undertake at Cabrini)
Knowledgeable in culinary and nutritional terminology including diet codes (preferable)
Effective in interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive and professional working relationships
