The Corporate Treasury team is responsible for managing the company’s cash, debt, equity, capital, and liquidity positions. We are looking for a high-performing analytical and collaborative leader to join our finance organization. This opportunity affords significant exposure and impact on the company’s corporate finance profile and strategic outlook, as well as tremendous professional development in a high paced and dynamic environment. You’ll have an interesting mix of strategic and operational responsibilities to manage projects from beginning to end.
What You’ll Do:
- Support any future equity or debt financing transactions through evaluating market opportunities and taking into consideration investors’ expectations, peer practices, rating agency treatment and balance sheet impact
- Assist in growing spread lending program, including coordinating and managing relationships with Federal Home Loan banks and Farmer Mac and responsible for management of Equitable’ s securities lending program
- Prepare documentation to facilitate leadership team for quarterly earnings conference calls regarding Spread Lending product line and capital markets information
- Lead spread lending working group meetings between Treasury and GA investment teams
- Assist in developing strategy and execution for Equitable’s capital return program, including dividends and share repurchases
- Prepare quarterly covenant reporting and compliance packages for our lenders
- Manage the company’s bank scorecard to facilitate the balance of trade between Equitable and banking partners
- Execute letters of credit and other bank products to support financing activities
- Keep up to date with capital markets, credit ratings, interest rates, FX rates, and other KPIs relevant to the company's capital markets, debt, and spread lending programs
Ad hoc projects as assigned by Treasurer, Head of Capital Markets & Liquidity, or Head of Funding
Here’s Who You’ll Work With:
- Report to the Head of Capital Markets and Funding and collaborate with Legal, business partners, Investment, Controller, plus the operations teams and external parties (banks, rating agencies, etc.)
Significant direct exposure to the Treasurer and senior leadership
Office Location: The role will be based in our Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office.
In office schedule: This team member will work in office 2-3 days per week.
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
