The Commercial Business Partner role will be based at our Greenergy Flexigrid site in Tamworth.
This role will play a pivotal role in driving revenue capture, optimising cash flow, and ensuring strong financial and operational alignment across the business. This role will act as a conduit between Finance and Operations, ensuring commercial discipline, margin optimisation, and commercial insight that supports business growth.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will have a choice to pursue a professional qualification through a company-supported apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Business Partnering:
- Own and drive revenue capture and cash flow optimisation for 3rd party customers
- Monitor and analyse 3rd party account profitability to ensure margin delivery and highlight opportunities for improvement
- Act as the conduit between Finance and Operations, ensuring transparent and effective communication across teams
- Enhance commercial awareness across functional teams, embedding commercial discipline and accountability
Customer Management:
- Assist in the set-up and onboarding of accounts
- Support the management of commercial contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with agreed terms
- Establish and oversee margin optimisation controls, including monitoring rates versus contractual terms
Commercial Reporting:
- Develop, maintain, and report on commercial KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Provide insights to support project implementation
- Conduct regular evaluation of approved projects to ensure the assumed benefits are realised
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with the Group Finance team and the wider Flexigrid teams
General:
- Role model the Greenergy values
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills - Essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Essential
- Familiarity with PowerBI - Desirable
