Hours of work are 8.45 am – 5.15 pm Monday – Friday (with some flexibility on these hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Visit local retailers that sell our newspapers and magazines to help make them look their best.
- Set up posters, signs, and other promotional materials to help boost sales.
- Make sure newspaper supplements are delivered and displayed properly.
- Keep shelves tidy, well-stocked, and eye-catching for customers.
- Build good relationships with retail staff and work together to improve displays.
- Check that everything is set up correctly and fix any small issues on the spot.
- Represent the business and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Problem-solving issues and making sure everything looks right
- Travel around the local area is part of the job; a pool car is available.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in merchandising and/or customer service is desirable.
- A friendly, forward-facing attitude - you'll be an ambassador for our titles.
- Ability to follow remote briefs and apply clear, straightforward guidelines.
- A positive, proactive approach to your work.
- Computer literate - familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving licence
