The Role

KU Peter Pan La Perouse is seeking a dynamic, bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team in a part-time parental leave position.

This rewarding role will see you working on Thursdays and Fridays, with 7.6 hours per day to make a real impact on young learners. and will have the chance to contribute to a nurturing environment that celebrates childhood and fosters a love of learning.

Of course, you will need:

  • Relevant experience  
  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree,
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates 
  • Active NESA Teacher Accreditation,
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
