Nature of Duties:
This position is responsible for supervising patient services staff and overseeing daily front office operations. The Team Leader should have a working knowledge of insurance products, be familiar with common insurers and their limitations, and know how to access resources to resolve related issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; college education preferred. 
- Strong communication and organizational skills. 
- Proficiency with computers. 
- Knowledge of insurance products preferred. 
- Prior management experience preferred. 
- At least two years in a healthcare-related field preferred. 
Starting Compensation: $22.2500 will commensurate based on experience
Specific Duties:
- Oversee patient reception and ensure positive patient interactions for services such as visits and diagnostic testing. 
- Manage daily schedules and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and department leaders to maintain efficient patient flow and provider workflow. 
- Resolve scheduling issues and patient concerns using system tools. 
- Perform front desk duties as needed, including check-in/out, scheduling, and chart prep. 
- Supervise Patient Services staff, including: - Training and onboarding new team members 
- Providing guidance and support 
- Fostering a positive team environment 
- Coaching for performance and teamwork 
- Conducting performance evaluations and counseling as needed 
- Managing staffing levels and approving time-off requests 
- Ensuring staff compliance with tools, policies, and procedures 
- Serving as a liaison among staff, physicians, Practice Administrator, and other leaders 
 
- Maintain secure cash handling procedures. 
- Communicate issues or suggestions to the Practice Administrator. 
- Support electronic health record processes, including SRS scanning.
