Medical Biller/Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Salary : $19.00 - $21.50 per hour

What You'll Do:
- Processes incoming referrals three times daily.
- Run a daily report on prior day admissions. Reviews patient account to ensure all information is accurate and eligibility current
- Prepare billing and transmits electronically.
- Utilize Esolutions to adjust or correct Medicare claims.
- Monitor and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Coordinate accounts receivable activities to meet required schedules for billing and financial reporting.
- Communicates with appropriate clinical staff to obtain requested information needed in order to receive reimbursement.
- Prepare adjustments to the accounts receivable system as required.
- Participate in team meetings, as necessary.
- Deposit checks and prepare batches.
- Post payments to patient accounts.
- Go to bank when needed.
- Enter physician visits into Cerner.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 3 years' experience as a medical biller, hospice billing preferred
- Ability to problem-solve billing issues and communicate findings
