Tech Software Engineer in Test na UBS

Have you successfully planned, organized, and controlled all Test automation activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined automation test coverage, deciding required tools & technology for automation and implementing it for End to End testing? Do you want to be our test expert in DevOps making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements? ? Are you confident in delivering the objectives within highly complex projects.
We’re looking for SDET Engineer to:
• develops automation frameworks and configurations; reviews analysis to ensure adherence to quality
standards
• supports quality/test strategy creation, testing, and automation maintenance
• proactively identify potential quality issues and contribute to early defect prevention
• collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects efficiently. Designs and codes test automation solutions for user journeys with Test and Dev Env
• develop and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks for UI, REST API, and backend
testing using Selenium Java
• integrate & maintain automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation
• develop new automation scripts using UI Automation tool like Selenium- Java in existing framework etc
• good to have a understanding of DevOps Platform domain, agile methodology, CI/CD pipeline setup using GITLAB.

You'll be working in the Core Platform Engineering team. It's part of Group CTO which is part of the
global Technology Services division. You’ll be focusing on DevOps tools engineering, Azure infrastructure.
The team is truly agile and distribute across multiple locations, as a result you will gain valuable
experience working with world-class IT and Banking expertise (including Europe, US and APAC). Diversity

You have:

– 7+ years’ experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium -Java, Rest Assured,
JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber). Working experience in configuring project build automation using Maven,
Gradle, etc.
– proficiency in Selenium Java with strong full-stack development capabilities, experience in automated testing in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with CI/CD tools Like Gitlab is added advantage
– expertise in E2E, functional integration testing, and testing RESTful APIs and microservices
– knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing e.g. jira,squash, any test case
management tool
– strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering technical automation solutions
– knowledge of non-functional testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner Enterprise, Chaos Engineering) is a plus
– willing to learn new technologies and aspire to implement it in project areas, an excellent communicator, with persuasive presentation skills
– customer orientated and focused on service quality, a multitasker, well organized and able to thrive when no two days are the same
