The Service Director is a hospitality-focused, results-driven leader who enhances team and guest experiences. This role involves collaborating with various departments, focusing on Hospitality & Service, Team Member Excellence, and consistent attention to detail. Responsibilities include driving sales, ensuring exceptional service, managing profitability, and effectively managing team performance through hiring, training, and development.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the restaurant and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences daily.
  • Oversee front-of-house functions during shifts, including guest relations, team supervision, ambiance, and quality assurance.
  • Implement and enforce company initiatives and policies to improve quality, service, and operations.
  • Collaborate with the training manager to train and develop team, set goals, and expectations.
  • Foster team education and growth for FOH team members.
  • Manage the hiring process and set standards for FOH team member.
  • Respond to all guest reviews with stars less than 2 and handle guest recovery.
  • Identify and address areas of opportunities and concerns that may arise daily.
  • Oversee the server schedule and conduct final check-outs.
  • Monitor server performance and coach them as needed.


 Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment. Strong computer skills (Aloha, Open Table, Excel, Word, timekeeping software).
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for service and exceeding guest needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a hands-on management style.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
