Buck Company is looking for a Industrial Electrician to join its team in Quarryville, PA on first shift. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and troubleshooting various electrical equipment to help meet production goals. You will also be troubleshooting and maintaining three phase electrical equipment. Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment to help meet production goals
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose network and technical programs 
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC systems
  • Effectively resolve production problems in a timely manner
  • Diagnose cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Perform safety and operational tests
  • Estimate or quote maintenance repair costs
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow processes
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills to maximize benefits of position.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
  • 2- 5 years’ experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Flexibility of schedule to work alternate shifts
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with Buck Company safety policy.
  • Ability to meet qualitative and/ or quantitative productivity requirements
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all team members
