Primary Purpose:
To operate a department, which meets or exceeds standards set forth by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and to perform with skill multiple tasks necessary to operate a department in which nutritious, attractive, and satisfying meals are prepared and served under high standards of sanitation and safety to all students.
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED (English)
Must have a valid Texas Drivers License
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Must be able to do heavy lifting
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable

Technical Skills, Responsibilities and Duties |

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Delivers all meals and merchandise to the assigned cafeterias.
- Loading and verifying all meals and merchandise to be delivered to the assigned cafeterias.
- Unloading and accounting for meals delivered with the manager of the assigned cafeterias.
- Clean inside of cab (no papers or cups on dashboard).
- Wash box inside and out (be sure to wash inside walls).
- Keep daily records of checking the oil, water, battery, and air pressure in tires.
- Sweeping and disposing of trash.
- Helping in warehouse and in coolers.
- Helping each other to accomplish the work.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Food Service Director or Supervisor.

Personal computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment

Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting

Work inside, may work outside; regular exposure to noise
