About the role:  

Join Origin’s Generation team at Australia’s largest gas-fired combined cycle power station. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a close-knit team, where your skills will directly contribute to powering the future. 

Why the role matters?  

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.
• Support major and minor outages, including planning, scheduling, and hands-on execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using CMMS and diagnostic tools.
• Prepare work method statements, risk assessments, and manage spare parts and resources.
• Respond to call-outs and support extended hours during outages, including potential night shifts. 

What will you bring?  

• Electrical trade qualifications (essential); HV switching, Beamex, and Cert III Instrumentation (desirable).
• Experience in power generation or heavy industry (CCGT, coal, hydro, refinery).
• Strong understanding of PTW systems and CMMS tools.
• Proven commitment to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
• A current “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
