The Opportunity
As a Senior Living Sales Counselor, you’ll play a key role in helping prospective residents and their families make one of life’s most important decisions — choosing their new home. From the first inquiry to move-in day, you’ll be a trusted guide who builds relationships, uncovers individual needs, and demonstrates how life at Epworth Villa offers peace of mind, purpose, and connection. Because moving to a Life Plan Community is both a lifestyle choice and a significant financial decision, you’ll provide clear, confident explanations of our contract options and value, helping prospects and their families see Epworth Villa as a wise investment in their future.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with prospective residents and families through calls, tours, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Guide prospects through the decision-making process with patience, professionalism, and compassion.
- Manage a long sales cycle (often a year or more) with consistent follow-up and personalized engagement.
- Track activities in our CRM system, ensuring every lead receives timely and thoughtful attention.
- Represent Epworth Villa at community events, presentations, and networking opportunities.
- Support residents and families through the reservation and move-in process to ensure a smooth transition.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of successful sales experience in a relationship-based or consultative role.
- Proven ability in pipeline management — keeping track of prospective residents, knowing their stage in the decision process, and following up consistently until they are ready to move forward.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Comfort using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital follow-up tools.
- A heart for serving others, with patience for long-term relationship building.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Life Plan community sales, entry fee sales, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) sales, senior living sales, or independent living sales.
- Knowledge of senior housing, healthcare services, and aging-related needs.
