You’ll Be Responsible For:
- You will be on the team for the design and construction PMO and project controls services on a large financial institution’s capital project portfolio.
- You will create/design effective PMO and project controls framework/strategies.
- You will be a trusted advisor to and build strong professional relationships with client organizations.
- You will be given problem statements and multiple data sets and will work with the PMO’s data engineering and visualization team to evaluate, visualize and present findings through the data that help solution problems.
- You will be given autonomy to review portfolio and program level data to find bottle necks and process improvement opportunities
- You will lead and direct periodic reporting and structured governance and performance meetings.
- You will help establish risk forecasting tools (schedule, cost and scope) based on historical data and trends
- You will ensure all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace control centre, client requirements and prevailing legislation.
- You will work within a large internal Mace PMO as part of a larger client organization
- You will utilize expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of junior members of the PMO and project control team.
- You will innovate and align with industry best practice to ensure continued service excellence.
You’ll Need To Have:
- Experience as a PMO manager/leader within a large PMO for a global real estate client headquartered in New York.
- Significant experience with taking large data sets and working with a technical team to distil into executive level analysis to drive improvements, innovation and risk forecasting
- Significant experience of effective PMO and project controls leadership on significant construction projects and within management consultancies.
- Strong knowledge of and connectivity to the financial and construction markets to leverage best practices and provide opportunities for innovation and success.
- Expert knowledge of PMO and project controls tools, techniques and software.
- Practical knowledge/application and understanding of the opportunities related to data analytics and intelligent reporting, Power BI and other reporting suite tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership
- Effective appraisal/analytical skills to support skilled negotiations, problem solving, or conflict resolution.
- Growth mindset that promotes curiosity, high quality contribution and team collaboration, sharing of best practice and lessons learnt between teams.
- Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
- Must be able to be in the office for a minimum of 4 days per week.
Note - The estimated salary for this position is $125,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
