Responsible for managing a team (or multiple teams) to deliver writing and editorial content. Provides leadership to managers and professionals.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Developing comprehensive workflow process/s to manage the end-to-end process of creative work in project, resource and capacity management.
- Managing and providing leadership to a team of managers and professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.
- Providing performance management, technical development and coaching.
- Maintaining quality, consistency, and brand guidelines of all projects.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
- Working with the team to deliver creative outputs from brief and concept through to deliver.
- Developing and maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
- Managing and influences Key/Senior stakeholders.
- Improving quality of creative deliverables through research.
- Demonstrating how the creative function supports development and adds value through return on investment (ROI) data.
- Contributing to and influences wider team/s resourcing planning.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have:
- APMP Practitioner accreditation (if working within work winning) (or equivalent).
- APMP Writing micro-certification (if working within work winning) (or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Media or related field (or equivalent).
- Experience in writing for different mediums, such as print, digital, and social media.
- Experience in editing, with a strong portfolio of editing samples that demonstrate expertise in editing across a range of industries and formats.
- Knowledge of intellectual property laws, including copyright and trademark.
You’ll Also Have:
- Demonstrable experience in the built environment sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, with the ability to incorporate new learnings into writing projects.
- Understanding of the construction/consultancy industry, key terminology and topics.
- Experience working on international projects and with multinational teams.
- Actively engages in external writing/editorial groups/associations.
- Shares knowledge and experience across the business.
Note - The estimated salary for this position is $125,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
