This part-time position is based in our vibrant downtown Toronto office, with hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (three days per week). What you'll be doing
You’ll be the go-to person for all things HR and office-related for our teams in Canada, the US, and the UK. From employee relations and onboarding to performance management, talent development, and DEI initiatives, you’ll help create an environment where everyone can thrive. You’ll also keep our Toronto office buzzing with energy, organizing team events, supporting a positive culture, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
How you will work
- Part-time, in-office: Work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our downtown Toronto office
- Fixed-term contract: 1-year maternity leave cover, ideal for someone seeking a meaningful challenge with a clear timeline.
- Family-friendly: Designed for parents or anyone seeking a better work-life balance without sacrificing career growth.
(Note that this role reports into Sydney, so you will need to be available for evening meetings on your work days)
What you'll bring
- At least 3 years’ experience in HR
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law (bonus points for US/UK experience)
- Great communication, organizational, and people skills
- A vibrant personality and a good sense of humor
- Independence and initiative (you’ll report into a manager in Sydney, Australia, and join evening calls with our global team)
