We are seeking a visionary DevOps Solution Architect with extensive expertise in enterprise-scale multi-cloud environments to drive our strategic cloud transformation initiatives and establish industry-leading DevOps practices across the organization.

The DevOps Solution Architect will serve as the technical leader and strategic visionary for our enterprise cloud infrastructure, responsible for architecting and governing large-scale, mission-critical systems across Azure and GCP. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, advanced automation frameworks, and the ability to influence organizational strategy while mentoring senior engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Cloud Architecture & Governance

• Design and enforce enterprise-wide cloud architecture standards and reference patterns across Azure and GCP.
• Establish cloud governance, cost optimization, and vendor management strategies.
• Lead cloud migration, disaster recovery, and multi-region architecture design.

Advanced Container & Platform Engineering

• Architect enterprise Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE) with advanced security, networking, and multi-tenancy.
• Implement service mesh solutions (Istio) for complex microservices.
• Deploy advanced rollout strategies (blue-green, canary, feature flags).
• Build self-service developer platforms, intelligent automation (Python, AI/ML), and enterprise observability solutions.

CI/CD & GitOps Excellence

• Architect scalable pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
• Design GitOps frameworks with multi-environment promotion.
• Integrate chaos engineering, security scanning, and supply chain attestation.

Cloud Services Leadership

• Azure: AKS, Azure Functions, Service Fabric, Azure AD, Key Vault, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, monitoring integration.
• GCP: GKE, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Global Load Balancer, AlloyDB, Cloud Storage.

Security & Compliance Architecture

• Implement Zero Trust architectures, microsegmentation, and advanced identity management.
• Automate compliance for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and industry frameworks.
• Drive security-by-design and security-as-code practices.

Data & Analytics Platforms

• Architect data lakes, warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Build ML/AI platforms for full lifecycle management.
• Establish data governance and catalog solutions.

Leadership & Strategic Influence

• Mentor senior engineers and architects, drive DevOps culture transformation.
• Lead centers of excellence, technology evangelism, and strategic vendor engagements.
• Oversee architecture review boards and enterprise technology roadmaps.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Cloud Platforms: 6+ years with Azure and GCP enterprise implementations.
• Kubernetes: 5+ years production experience with AKS and GKE.
• DevOps Tools: Expert-level CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform, ARM), and GitOps.
• Programming: Expert Python with PowerShell, Bash, Go, or Java experience.
• Security & Compliance: Deep Zero Trust knowledge and enterprise governance frameworks.

Leadership & Certifications

• 8+ years leading technical teams and enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Required: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
• Preferred: Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).

Preferred Qualifications

• AI/ML platforms experience (Azure ML, Vertex AI), advanced monitoring tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Logistics/transportation industry background, open-source contributions, conference speaking experience.
• Published thought leadership and large-scale digital transformation experience.
