Experiences and Skills You’ll Use to Solve: 

 

 

You’ll develop your consulting skills in a dynamic, diverse, and fast paced M&A team focused on helping create and capture value throughout an acquisition or a divestiture. You’ll help clients grow faster and work smarter and solve problems that matter and create tangible value through M&A. Types of projects you’ll work on include growth and turnaround strategies, fully integrated due diligence, organisation design, change management and culture, operational excellence, and the creation/ review of  financial models. Whatever issues you’re solving with your client, you’ll work with inspiring leaders who will help you achieve your goals and be your best. You'll quickly develop business acumen, as well as core consulting, project management, and coaching skills. 

 

When you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to develop consulting skills in HR, IT, Finance, Strategy, Transaction Management, Corporate Development models and analytics, and Operations all within your first 2 years. As you progress your career, you’ll have the opportunity to align to a few of these core skills, based on your interest and business needs. 

 

You’ll also have the opportunity to gain specialised knowledge and serve clients across industries and sectors including Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Mining and Industrial Products, Technology, Communications, Retail & Consumer, and Private Equity.

What you’ll bring to this role: 

 

Skills & Education: 

  • Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education 

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas 

  • Highly detail oriented with excellent organisational and analytical skills with an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients 

Working Style 

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives 

  • Building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust by sharing and collaborating effectively with others 

  • Ability to adapt easily while demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

Location & Other Requirements 

  • You’ll be comfortable travelling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC) 

  • This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract. 

  • We'd love it even more if you’re bilingual in English and French, however this isn't a requirement.
