**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- The team will augment services provided by Air Force military personnel to modify, maintain, inspect, control corrosion, overhaul, repair, regenerate and store various weapon systems, related components, missiles, engines, ground support equipment and vehicles.
DUTIES:
- Provide direct labor support for aircraft electrical and environmental system maintenance, repair, and modifications and possess an advanced level of knowledge, skill and ability.
- Fabricate and install aircraft wiring circuits, test aircraft electrical and electronic circuitry, and conduct final testing of related and affected electrical and instrument systems, provide troubleshooting, and perform modification and repair of complex electrical systems, components, and accessories on aircraft.
- Perform final functional and operational testing of electrical and environmental systems, test, troubleshoot, correct, and maintain electrical power control systems which include tie-in of power and control circuits with other functional systems.
- Test, troubleshoot, correct, and maintain aircraft environmental systems, replace defective control units, relay boards, servo units, indicating instruments, and/or other components of electrical and environmental systems, install nonconventional electrical and related electronic equipment by routing and connecting wiring to new or existing electrical or electronic systems, components, or equipment.
- Research aircraft modification histories, technical orders, engineering change proposals, and manuals concerning wire codes, wiring configuration, and testing procedures, assist engineering personnel in developing modifications and changes on environmental and electronic instrumentation and other integrated electrical systems as required.
- Set-up and operate computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment to run established and new diagnostic programs in various test modes to test aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of the entire aircraft or individual systems such as radar, navigational computers, and flight controls.
- Fabricate a variety of aircraft specific or specialized "breakout boxes" and panels to facilitate testing of electrical systems, and assist programming personnel in developing, debugging, or modifying diagnostic programs to identify apparent contradictions between technical guides and test programs.
- Assist with limited towing operations and other aircraft general maintenance tasks that do not require specialized training.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have minimum 8 years applicable experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Must be capable of working in a potentially hostile environment for an extended period. May be required to travel to and between remote location(s) in austere environments. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
Physical Requirements:
A. Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
B. Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
C. Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
D. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
E. May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
F. Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
G. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
H. Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
I. May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
