Step up from Senior Engineer to Release & Team Lead
Are you an experienced software engineer with a passion for release management and delivery excellence? This role is your opportunity to take the lead on one of Australia’s most significant defence programs, where your expertise will ensure software is built, integrated, and released to the highest standards.

Working on the AIR6500 program, you’ll combine hands-on technical knowledge with leadership of the release and configuration function. • Oversee build and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth promotion through environments.
  • Develop and enforce release governance processes, balancing speed with quality and compliance.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
  • Define and refine processes that maintain configuration control across the program.
  • Ensure software elements are correctly baselined and integrated into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Champion best practice in CI/CD pipelines, version control, and change management.
