The Capital Campaign Manager reports directly to the Chief Development Officer. The Capital Campaign Manager plays a key support role in the planning and execution of the capital campaign for Reformed Theological Seminary. This position is responsible for coordinating logistics, tracking campaign progress, supporting donor outreach efforts, and ensuring that all elements of the campaign run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working behind the scenes to support development staff, leadership, and volunteers in achieving fundraising goals.
This is an institutional position that must be based at the RTS Jackson campus. This position is a time-limited, three-year appointment, unless an extension is approved by the RTS Executive Committee due to the continuation of the campaign.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Campaign Coordination and Logistics:
- Assist in the implementation of the capital campaign.
- Coordinate the campaign timeline, ensuring that all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Work closely with the development team to compile and distribute campaign materials (including donor lists, case statements, campaign newsletters and stewardship communications).
Donor Engagement Support:
- Help organize donor outreach efforts (including scheduling meetings, tracking interactions, and preparing follow-up materials).
- Maintain donor and prospect records in the CRM/database and Windshield2020.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on commitments, gifts, and donor communications.
- Assist in planning and executing campaign-related events (including donor briefings, receptions, and recognition activities).
- Prepare reports and updates for leadership, board members, and campaign volunteers.
Collaboration and Administrative Support:
- Serve as a liaison between development staff, leadership, and campaign counsel, helping to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth communication.
- Support key fundraising committees such as the Campaign Steering Committee and the Executive Campaign Committee.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take extensive notes, and follow up on action items related to the committee’s needs.
- Assist with campaign-related research, including donor prospecting and benchmarking against similar organizations.
- Monitor campaign progress and compile data to assess performance and inform strategy adjustments.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required (communications, business, nonprofit management, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of five years’ experience in business administration or a comparable professional discipline
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and commitment to RTS’s mission.
Additional Qualification Preferences:
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or campaign management.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, donor databases, and Microsoft Office (Windshield2020 a plus).
Cognitive and Physical Demands:
- Computer work, screen time, keyboarding, typing, wrist flexing/extension and other repetitive movements.
- Professional judgment in alignment with organizational values and policies is required.
- Kneeling, standing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and lifting (up to 15 pounds).
