Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program. This role is critical to ensuring secure and efficient access to NVR’s networks, systems, and applications—both cloud-based and on-premises. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Microsoft Entra ID and related IAM technologies, with a strong focus on safeguarding sensitive data through robust access controls. 

In addition to technical leadership, this role will serve as a strategic partner across the organization, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to align IAM initiatives with business and security objectives. The Lead Engineer will also mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. 

Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Microsoft Entra ID and associated IAM solutions. 

  • Administer and optimize Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). 

  • Develop and enforce Conditional Access Policies (CAP) to ensure secure access across environments. 

  • Manage Access Reviews and implement Just-in-Time (JiT) access protocols. 

  • Integrate and maintain Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Identity for threat detection and response. 

  • Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and Dynamic Group Management. 

  • Lead the Identity and Access Management Program, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and compliance goals. 

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to align IAM strategies with business and security objectives. 

  • Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to communicate IAM priorities, risks, and solutions. 

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to junior engineers, supporting their technical growth and career development. 

  • Monitor and report on IAM system performance, compliance, and audit readiness. 

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in identity and access management. 

 

Job Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field;  

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on IAM. 

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, PAM, PIM, CAP, SSO, and Defender for Cloud. 

  • Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, etc.). 

  • Familiar with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOX). 

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing engineering talent. 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) are a plus.
