Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in the reconciliation technology field. The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in business analysis, particularly in reconciliation processes, and will contribute to product onboarding and the enhancement of our reconciliation platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the onboarding and integration of new products onto the reconciliation platform.
- Analyze and support the design of reconciliation processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Help configure and customize data models and pipelines to meet business requirements.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to support operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for ongoing enhancements and fixes.
- Participate in the research, design, and implementation of new features and improvements to the reconciliation application.
- Document requirements and design specifications for new functionalities.
- Support testing and validation of new configurations and enhancements before implementation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application functionality and data quality.
- Help identify and address technical debt while automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
Requirements/Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience working in a business analyst role.
- University degree (Bachelor’s) in IT or a related field.
- Familiarity with any: RESTful APIs, Excel, Python, SQL, and Cloud hosting.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (GIT, SVN).
- Understanding of agile software development lifecycle methodologies (Scrum, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in oral and written English.
- Basic understanding of reconciliation processes.
- Technical proficiency in reconciliation tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supporting the design and implementation of cash reconciliation processes and other reconciliation types (e.g., accounting, fees, invoices) is preferred. A basic understanding of reconciliation methodologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements, particularly in the context of financial services and investment management, is beneficial. Familiarity with reconciliation management tools and technologies (such as EzOps ARO or similar platforms) to assist in configuring and customizing reconciliation workflows is a plus. Experience in data modeling and data pipeline configuration, along with the ability to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data quality and application functionality, is also advantageous.
