South Lanarkshire Council Enterprise and Sustainable Development Service are looking to recruit two Project Manager to join their team.

Are you passionate about creating better places and a greener, more sustainable future for communities and the environment? South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Project Manager to join our Economic Development Team to help drive positive change within South Lanarkshire. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of towns across South Lanarkshire, working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver regeneration across the Council and within our communities.

 

Supporting the economy through the work of the economic development service is a key Council priority. Major projects including the delivery of town centre masterplans, city deal infrastructure projects, inward investment and working closely with all our communities are key to this success. The council are working to deliver transformational change in partnership with groups and organisations to achieve our common goals on behalf of communities.

 

The work of our economic development service across all our towns and communities is extensive and continuing to grow in reaction to the many challenges faced in the economy. Based within Community and Enterprise Resources, with a Council wide influence, the opportunity has arisen for a forward-thinking Project Manager to help set and maintain our strategic direction within this agenda, alongside leading a small team of experienced and dedicated economic development professionals.

 

You’ll have a genuine commitment to economic development with the dedication and drive to really make a difference. You’ll have experience in economic development and physical regeneration disciplines with great leadership and communication skills to engage and inspire others to achieve the Council’s ambitions for our town centres. You’ll be able to navigate through challenges and obstacles with determination to find solutions.
