JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Auditor
REPORTS TO: Audit Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Accounting & RTP Business Systems
CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
General Purpose
The auditor ensures that the daily revenue is correctly accounted for in a timely and thorough manner throughout the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) profit centers. Auditor must be able to work 3-4 days per week.
Essential Functions
- Upload InfoGenesis data from daily closes.
- Collect audit reports/packets from the main drop.
- Audit all POS locations for JHMR with RTP generated reports to ensure accuracy. Verify reports against corresponding backup, including deposit slips, discount and comp paperwork, and vouchers.
- Audit account charges and ensure validity of account with JHMR as well as proper authorization and customer signature.
- Identify backup required for A/R billing, including Food and Beverage vouchers and file appropriately. Contact manager in a timely manner if backup is missing.
- Audit cashier totals and bank deposits.
- Flag questionable transactions for discussion with Lead Auditor.
- Organize and store audit information on a regular basis.
- Manage Over/Short spreadsheets in MS Excel
Other Functions
- Provide copied backup of charge slips, vouchers, and similar documentation as requested by the Lead Auditor.
- Communicate errors or irregularities to supervisor.
- Assist with research of credit card chargebacks.
- Assist with RTP System Maintenance as directed by RTP Business Manager.
- Assist with other Accounting Functions as needed.

Job Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- Detail Oriented
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Computer abilities required
Education or Formal Training:
- High School Education
- College Accounting coursework preferred.
Materials and Equipment Directly Used:
Computer, Copier, etc.
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
Must travel between office and Accounting drop box
