Your Responsibilities

 

As a Manager, Training - Aftermarket and Customer Support for JD Construction & Forestry located in Davenport, IA, you will:

 

  • Lead the aftermarket training development and delivery strategy globally for the Construction and Forestry (C&F) division
  • Manage a team of instructors to deliver training solutions that increase our customer and dealer’s service capabilities and capacity
  • Manage and grow the capabilities of the C&F Certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) program
  • Manage the North America Aftermarket Parts and Service Career Recognition program in partnership with the enterprise
  • Collaborate with global enterprise training teams on consistent deployment of our shared training process and solutions

What Skills You Need

 

  • Demonstrated passion for developing people
  • 3 or more years of experience successfully managing cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business results
  • 3 or more years of experience with heavy equipment dealer parts/service operations and how they support customers
  • Experience influencing without authority inside and outside of an assigned organization at all levels 
  • Ability to manage budget plans for a department
  • Willingness to travel 50% of time at a minimum. (Heavier travel may be required, possibly including weekends, during large training events such as Spring Training or during a new product launch)

 

What Makes You Standout

 

  • Experience with construction equipment applications, dealers and customers
  • Knowledge in machine systems (electrical, hydraulic, power train, engine, etc.)
  • Formal experiences in the learning and development related the analysis, design and delivery of training solutions 

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, engineering, technology, marketing, or equivalent related work experience
