- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and four (4) years of experience within the Medical Devices Industry.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
- Soft Skills: Writing and communication skills
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma and Validations.
- Shift: 1st and according to business needs.
- Experience in:
- Documentation reports.
- Execution of equipment validations.
- Root Cause Analysis tools ( 5 Whys, DMAIC, Fishbone).

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, and material handling.
- Designs the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
- Designs the sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action.
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures comply with regulations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and rejects in the manufacturing lines.
- Will participate in hands-on activities to validate process equipment.
- Participate in the execution of Lean transformation initiatives to improve labor efficiency.
- Document engineering reports for testing, and change orders to keep BOM accuracy.
