About the role
As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of projects and partner frequently with cross-functional teams. You will partner closely with our Business to coordinate enhancements in the execution of key projects at RACQ across all business lines.
As an integral member of the technology team, you will be at the forefront of driving innovative solutions forward to deliver on key project milestones. If you are an experienced self-starter BA who is able to juggle multiple projects and manage competing deadlines reach out to us today.
Key responsibilities:
- Defining/reviewing business problems/opportunities using problem and opportunity analysis techniques to develop a scope statement and provide valuable inputs.
- Developing a requirements plan including identifying stakeholders, roles and responsibilities, communications, and appropriate approach for eliciting, analysing, documenting, managing, and approving requirements to deliver the business outcome.
- Eliciting requirements, using individual and group elicitation techniques to discover and capture requirements.
- Working with stakeholders to define business metrics/acceptance criteria to ensure the solution fully meets the requirements.
- Analysing and using in-depth business requirement techniques such as dependency and interface analysis, and data/process modelling.
- Tracking requirements using a traceability artifact/tool, capturing the requirements' status/sources/relationships (including dependencies), to provide evidence that the requirements are delivered as stated.
- We are recruiting for permanent and 21-month fixed term positions.
About you
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Business Solution Analyst in a commercial environment.
- Well-defined coaching/mentoring skills, with experience of providing advice /guidance BA techniques and ways of working.
- Experience with web-based tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience within D365 is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound recommendations after the application of business analysis techniques.
- Extensive experience and the ability to provide clarity on delivery excellence on the below tools/techniques:
- Analytical skills, business rule analysis, process analysis
- Collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
- Data analysis

- Estimating
- Stakeholder analysis
