Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
- Provide person-centred assessments and help individuals and families access essential housing options
- Connect clients to support services, community resources, and The Salvation Army's wider network
- Develop action and safety plans that address immediate risks, vulnerabilities, and support pathways
- Offer trauma-informed, strengths-based support tailored to those with complex needs
- Collaborate with dedicated professionals who share a vision for a just and inclusive society
- Compassion and resilience, working with a calm and optimistic approach
- Experience in working with individuals who present with complex needs
- Strong communication, where you can navigate difficult conversations with empathy and clarity
- Confidence in building collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Alignment with The Salvation Army's values of Integrity, Compassion, Respect, Diversity, and Collaboration
- A relevant Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, or a related field – or significant relevant experience
- The ability to undertake thorough assessments, manage referrals, and develop support plans
- A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and client-focused practice
- A current Working with Children's Check
