Devops Support Analyst na Raymond James

This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St. Petersburg, FL or  Southfield, MI. 

Job Summary:
Raymond James is seeking a passionate and motivated Analyst to join our DevOps Deploy, Support, and Incident team. This individual will act as second-level support and central point of contact for various applications deployed using our DevOps technology stack. The ideal candidate would be innovative and have great problem-solving and analytical skills. A strong understanding of web-based applications and services, Linux and Windows Server operating systems, and task automation are important for this role. Candidates with foundational project management experience are desired.

Responsibilities:
• Act as second-level support and central point of contact for various applications deployed using our DevOps technology stack. 
• Participate in application environment configuration, documentation, and deployment.
• Work directly with application development teams to collaborate on issues and ensure architectural standards are adhered to.
• Identify and automate day-to-day/repetitive tasks.
• May lead projects including preparing project plans, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy, and delivering results on time. 
• May occasionally work a non-standard schedule including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications - External
Education/Previous Experience
•    Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree MIS, Computer Sciences, Business or related degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience preferably in systems or application administration or a combination of education, training and experience as approved by Human Resources.• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or combination or education, experience, and training

MUST HAVE:

·       Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems.
·       Experience troubleshooting Java, Angular, or .Net-based systems.
·       Experience with troubleshooting firewalls and network connectivity-related issues.
·       Experience installing and upgrading applications.

Nice to have:
·       Experience with middleware products JBOSS, Apache, NGINX, etc.
·       Experience with scripting tools such as Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
·       Experience with monitoring tools to ensure the required availability of assigned systems.
·       Experience with Active Directory, DNS, networking, and security fundamentals
