• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specializing in manual testing for product or SaaS applications.
• Comfortable operating as the sole QA team member in the US, owning all testing activities during US working hours.
• Proven experience testing .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and React Native mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
• Experience in API testing with tools like Postman.
• Skilled in SQL for test data setup and data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and accessibility testing practices.
• Keen interest in automation testing, eager to explore automation opportunities alongside manual QA responsibilities.
• Proficient with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for test case management and defect tracking.
• Independent and proactive, capable of operating as the only QA representative in the US.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Serve as the sole QA point of contact in the US, providing independent testing oversight and quality assurance.
• Design and execute manual test plans for SaaS applications covering functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Own release validation activities in US hours, ensuring smooth, defect-free product launches.
• Collaborate closely with UK-based QA peers, developers, and product managers to align on priorities, triage issues, and maintain testing consistency across time zones
• Promote QA best practices, process improvements, and continuous learning across the organization.

Strategic Quality Leadership

• Define and drive the manual testing strategy, aligning QA efforts with business objectives.
• Lead quality initiatives to improve operational excellence and consistency across testing practices.
• Embed quality goals into release planning and product development cycles.

Testing Expertise and Process Improvement

• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios across multiple platforms and applications.
• Validate releases in CI/CD environments to ensure stable deployments.
• Coordinate with specialized teams for performance and accessibility testing to meet industry standards.

Collaboration and Mentoring

• Partner with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
• Collaborate with UK-based QA teams to maintain consistent test coverage and quality standards globally.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced QA colleagues, helping them build expertise and grow professionally within the team.
• Support risk assessments and help plan mitigation strategies before releases.

Data-Driven Quality Improvement

• Define and track key quality metrics for manual testing efforts.
• Deliver quality reports highlighting testing results, trends, and recommendations for improvement.

Continuous Learning and Improvement
