Position Overview:
The Loan Partner I is responsible for maintaining organized loan files, meeting branch performance goals, and executing timely follow-ups to drive successful pre-qualifications and pre-approvals. This role is also responsible for managing client communications, verifying documentation accuracy, and performing income calculations to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Take incoming calls and input client data into Encompass.
Request documentation and review for accurateness.
Run AUS findings (DU or LP) and identify documentation requirements.
Calculate income from paystubs and/or tax returns.
Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, prospect follow up, file set-up, and analyses within allotted branch deadlines.
Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1.5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience.
Experience working with Encompass, DU, and LP.
General knowledge of RESPA and other mortgage and consumer lending regulations, preferred.
Familiarity with loan documents, preferred.
Excellent math and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
