Job Title: Proposal Coordinator
Location: Overland Park, KS (Kansas City Metro)
Are you a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who thrives on bringing projects to life? We’re looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our team and help craft winning proposals that make an impact. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our proposal process—coordinating with schedulers, estimators, and internal teams to gather, organize, and present critical project information. Your contributions will directly fuel our project success and strengthen client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Kick Off Proposals: Set up proposals with all the right documentation and internal approvals for a smooth start.
- Analyze & Strategize: Review inquiries, interpret scopes of work, and provide a strong foundation for winning proposals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with schedulers, estimators, and other internal experts to gather essential data and insights.
- Drive Proposal Development: Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time while meeting client expectations.
- Solve Challenges: Spot potential hurdles early and coordinate solutions to keep projects on track.
- Engage with Clients: Act as a point of contact and liaison with sales teams to ensure proposals exceed client expectations.
- Improve Processes: Follow internal standards and suggest ways to make proposal workflows even more efficient.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of proven experience supporting bid or proposal preparation in any industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Power BI.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat (bonus points for advanced skills!)
- Background in the electric power or construction industry is a strong plus.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude.
