Position: Full-time, Part-time, Various hours, (morning, evening or overnight)

Salary: Starting wage $18 to $20 per hour; dependent on experience and qualifications

Full-time Positions:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide residential care to youth ages 10yr to 17yr who have a variety of mental health, behavioral, substance abuse, and legal issues.

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, conduct groups, supervise youth in community settings, and provide a positive and healthy environment through role modeling.

Qualifications:

  • For the Residential Counselor position, Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field is preferred; or post-secondary education and a minimum of one year of experience working with children; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • For the Residential Worker position, a High School Diploma or GED is required, experience working with youth is preferred.

  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.

  • Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.

  • Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one for approved driver status.
