Our Trade Union Law Group is the 'go-to' legal team for the UK’s major trade unions. We’ve recently made legal history in cases like Tesco v USDAW and PCS v Government, defending collective rights and challenging unfair practices like “fire and rehire.” and we are looking to expand and enhance our team.
The role...
As a key member of our growing team, you’ll work alongside some of the UK’s most respected trade union lawyers on strategic, high-profile litigation—from Judicial Reviews and High Court actions to complex, multi-claimant employment tribunal cases. You’ll handle your own caseload while collaborating on major national cases that push the boundaries of the law.

We’d prefer you to be based in our Manchester office, but we’re open to London for the right candidate.
Who we are looking for...
A qualified solicitor or FILEX with at least 2 years PQE
A strong foundation in employment law and litigation
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset
A genuine passion for social justice and alignment with the trade union movement
A desire to become an expert in this vital and evolving area of law
