Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role combines accounting knowledge with data analytics to support financial decision-making, reporting, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a solid foundation in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and manage financial data using Power BI, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Prepare accurate reports and dashboards to support business insights
- Assist in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks
- Automate repetitive tasks and reports using basic Python scripts
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve data workflows
- Occasionally support API integrations and reporting processes alongside the tech team
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation
- Experience with APIs or basic integration tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
