Financial Services Internship - Wealth Management na Clearstead Advisors LLC

We are seeking a Financial Services Wealth Management Intern to assist members of various departments including Portfolio Management & Research, Institutional Consulting, and Financial Planning & Tax Strategy, and Corporate Finance within our downtown Cleveland, Ohio office. This opportunity provides strong exposure to the finance and wealth management field where you will gain hands-on experience and network with Clearstead senior leadership. 

This 12-week role will begin in May/June 2026 and average 40 hours per week and will include paid parking.

Essential Job Functions: 

Portfolio Management and Research

• Participates in research meetings to gain a firm understanding of investment strategies
• Develops knowledge of clients by attending team meetings, reviewing CRM notes, studying client files
• Supports preparation of client meeting materials
• Works on special projects regarding portfolio management and trading
• Supports research coverage for strategies including quarterly performance and attribution assessment of investment managers
• Creates written reports for strategies within assigned asset class
• Conducts economic and market research and analysis as needed

Institutional Consulting

• Develops knowledge of clients by meeting with team members, attending client meetings, and reviewing client files
• Supports preparation of client meeting materials
• Researches and solves client issues to address clients’ investment and financial needs
• Coordinates and assists Marketing with RFP responses
• Conducts investment research projects and analyzes/evaluates data to provide sound investment recommendations
• Works on special projects regarding institutional consulting team needs

Financial Planning and Tax Strategy

• Review and update client net worth report for use in client presentation
• Assist in various financial analysis for clients using eMoney software
• Work on special projects to related to personal financial, estate, tax, or charitable planning

The internship experience will culminate with two presentations to key members and executives across the firm; one focusing on the institutional segment and one on the private client segment of the firm.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Working toward Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Finance
• Pursuit of the CFA® or CFP designation a plus
• Ability to work under pressure, organize and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment where time management, attention to detail, follow-through and meeting deadlines are critical
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to conduct quantitative analysis with a critical eye
• Enjoy working in a team environment
