Position Summary:
The Applicant supports Mt. Rogers Regional Adult Education Program (MRRAEP) by managing, analyzing, and reporting student and program data. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist staff, students, and instructors with data-related tasks. The Applicant also provides support for office operations, program documentation, and outreach activities. Mt. Rogers Regional Adult Education Program (MRRAEP) is a grant-funded education program involving multiple stakeholders. The Applicant reports directly to the Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update student and class information provided by instructors.
- Collect, enter, and analyze client and program data using the LACES database.
- Ensure all data is entered, verified, and analyzed by required monthly deadlines.
- Compile reports and prepare Excel spreadsheets for presentation at monthly meetings.
- File and maintain program documentation in compliance with state guidelines.
- Provide training to clients and staff on data collection processes and software usage.
- Assist all students and instructors who enter the office.
- Support the Program Manager, Instructional Specialist, and Bookkeeper with projects as needed.
- Create and print brochures and related materials.
- Attend required state/regional training, including occasional overnight travel.
