Our Location:  We are excited to be opening a new Fulfillment Center in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.  The Dallas Fulfillment Center (DFC) will open in late 2026.  Our location will be determined no later than November 2025 and this position will support the planning, build-out and technical functioning of our Warehouse Management System.  This position will begin as a remote position, but will be onsite position upon opening of DFC in 2026.

This position must be flexible, reliable and able to travel  domestically and internationally without restriction provide regular support implementation, set up, testing as needed for our Fulfillment Centers in the US and Canada, specifically, but not limited to Seattle Fulfillment Center and Toronto Fulfillment Center.  Travel to other New Wave Group locations may also be required.

Upon hire and until at least January 2026, this position will be required to travel for extended periods of time to the Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) in Renton, Washington.  These trips will be scheduled in advance when possible.  Onboarding, training, implementation, testing and other activities will occur at SFC and remotely from your Dallas/Fort Worth home office. 

Job Vision:  

The DFC WM Technical Specialist provides in-depth testing and support of critical systems at our opening of a complete Fulfillment Center in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area.  

Responsibilities include:

  • DFC Technical Specialist primary responsibility is to support and manage the Company’s warehouse management system Infor WMS at our Fulfillment center located in Dallas, TX and remotely helps support the Company’s fulfillment center in Renton, Washington (SFC) and Toronto, Canada (TFC).  The position also collaborates with others in the IT organization to support and administer various other software applications used throughout the Fulfillment Centers that interface with the warehouse management system.
  • Support of our Embroidery Development and Scheduling Software. This includes Testing, Upgrades, Debugging and End-user support.
  • Provide detailed testing and support – remotely and onsite – of our AutoStore ASRS system. This includes Kardex, AutoStore and SVT. Interact with end users and vendors during testing, support and updates.
  • Design, test and support labels and hangtags for our VAS department generation.
  • Support Automation Dynamics Putwall.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have experience supporting a warehouse management system for a large fulfillment center.  Recent experience with Infor WMS or other WMS is required to ensure coming up to speed quickly in the role.
  • Knowledge of general DC Operations including:
    1. Experience with supporting AutoStore or similar ASRS system.
    2. Label design programs like Bartender, Interform or Nice Label.
    3. Putwall or similar support.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical staff and customers.
  • Organized and process oriented.   Diligent with documentation.             
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor and be solution oriented at all times.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and prioritization skills in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible with work hours (40+ hrs/week).

 Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience supporting development teams in a Warehouse Management Systems role.
  • Prior experience troubleshooting WMS implementation, testing and upgrades.
  • Ability to work with diverse staff, both in Dallas, Texas and Seattle, Washington.
  • Strong ability to communicate via email, text, Video/Teams and in person. 
  • Must be able to work in warehouse environment as needed – hot in summer, cold in winter.  
  • Walking, bending, using tools required.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese and/or Spanish in addition to mastery of English is desirable.
