Job Summary
We are seeking a responsive, communicative, and self-motivated Customer Service/Sales Support Representative to support our order management and customer engagement processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with legacy systems, managing time-sensitive tasks, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Input, verify, and manage customer orders in dated/legacy ERP and CRM systems
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure data integrity across systems
- Provide timely and professional follow-up with customers regarding order status, lead times, pricing, and product availability
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales, Production, Shipping) to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor email and phone channels for customer inquiries, responding promptly and thoroughly
- Track and escalate issues appropriately to ensure resolution within established timeframes
- Maintain documentation for customer interactions, changes, and escalations
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the customer service function
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service or data entry experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience working with legacy/dated ERP or order management systems (e.g., AS400, MAS90, older SAP versions) is highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time and tasks independently
- Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
