The Custom Shop Sales & Service Associate is a high-impact, entry-level hybrid role with 80% focus on outbound sales and marketing and 20% focus on customer service support. This role is perfect for recent college graduates or early-career professionals eager to grow in B2B sales, relationship building, and brand marketing.

Associates will manage inbound quote conversion, drive outbound sales in assigned segments, and collaborate cross-functionally to help build the future of the Custom Shop business. This position is fast-paced, goal-oriented, and foundational for future sales leaders at RTIC.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day… 

      1. Outbound Sales & Marketing (80%)

  • Conduct outbound outreach to new leads and lapsed buyers in Custom Shop segments (fundraising, team sports, field marketing, corporate)

  • Execute email and call campaigns aligned with current promotions, seasonal bundles, and strategic targets

  • Build relationships with bulk or repeat buyers; manage a growing territory or vertical

  • Present value-based bundles and drive higher average order value (AOV) through consultative selling

  • Work closely with marketing to surface campaign opportunities and share frontline buyer insights

  • Maintain CRM pipeline with complete activity tracking, quoting notes, and forecast accuracy

      2. Inbound Quote Conversion & Customer Support (20%)

  • Support inbound quote requests, helping customers understand pricing tiers, product choices, and customization options

  • Follow up to turn quotes into orders and resolve pre-sale questions or blockers

  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment

  • Maintain exceptional customer experience standards through clear communication and responsiveness

Performance Metrics:

  • Outbound activity volume and engagement rate

  • Quote-to-order conversion rate

  • Sales revenue from new and returning accounts

  • Average order value (AOV) and upsell success

  • CRM hygiene and task management

What You’ll Need… 

  • 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field)

  • Strong communicator with a proactive, positive attitude

  • Detail-oriented and organized in a high-volume quoting environment

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, and general tech) is a plus

  • Passionate about team sports, custom gear, or consumer product sales
