As a Community Champion and depending on what you are comfortable doing, you may help us in your local area by raising awareness of our work through any clubs or organisations you may be involved in, collecting donations, assisting at events, fundraising and representing St Petrocs.
Requirements of the role will be flexible to your needs and availability. This role is ideal for those unable to give a set commitment each week.

Volunteering should be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or qualification. The only criteria we expect from someone in this role are detailed below:
Essential Criteria
- Commitment to our service and client group.
- Reliability and agreement on how much time you can commit to the role.
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Confident and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsibility for own and others health and safety whilst undertaking the tasks.
- Always represent St Petrocs in a professional manner.
- Be knowledgeable about the work of St Petrocs or eager to learn more and be confident when answering people’s questions.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Able to deal with donations including monetary and gifts in kind following a set process of receiving and receipting.
- Can make own travel arrangements to required venues.
