Salary Range: $33.65 - 36.06/Hour, $70,000 – 75,000 annually
Senior Manager – St. Cloud Youth Shelter
The Senior Program Manager directs all aspects of the assigned programs, including but not limited to budgets, bed days, compliance, and operations. The Senior Program Manager aligns programmatic needs, contracts, and funding opportunities through community outreach, developing and maintaining external relationships, and acting as a regional ambassador to expand the 180 Degree program footprint. The Senior Program Manager oversees the budget and grants, has a thorough understanding of revenue sources, and develops the bed day goals. The Senior Program Manager delegates the goals to the Program Managers and ensures goals are met. This position is actively engaged in the community (70%) and providing direction and oversight to the program (30%).

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Outreach and Community Engagement (70%). Act as a regional ambassador to expand the footprint of 180 Degrees. Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships throughout the community. Host a variety of events and invite community partners into the program to utilize the training/community space, for example, but not limited to workforce planning events, job training, and workshops. Engage in various forms of outreach activities designed to enhance the community awareness of 180 Degrees and our programs. Correspond, connect, coordinate, and collaborate with other agencies, programs, and community contacts; ensure vendors and partners are effectively promoting the 180 Degrees brand.
- Program Oversight (15%). Provide supervision, coaching, and guidance to the Program Manager. Ensure the execution of the program vision, strategy, and goals at the program level. Support the Programs Manager in meeting the daily bed goals. Communicate the program vision, strategy, and goals to the Program Managers and provide oversight to ensure these are met and carried out.
- Collaborate with 180 Degrees Departments (15%). Partner with Data, Quality Control, and Innovation Department to ensure program compliance with all regulatory licensing and accreditation programing requirements. Collaborate on policy updates and communicate these updates to the Program Manager; ensure adoption within the program to remain compliant. Maintain open communication to stay abreast of grant requirements and funding changes. Partner with the Advancement Department to ensure alignment with the 180 Degree brand, generate revenue, secure funding, and expand the footprint.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and community members.
- Expand the footprint of 180 Degrees and maintain healthy relationship to continue the expansion.
- Host one community training/engagement session per month.
- Develop a community calendar to include, but not limited to, workforce planning events, job training, workshops, and community/external training sessions.
- Utilize the 180 Degree brand for community outreach and engagement; create communications through a variety of channels in partnership with the Advancement team.
- Correspond, connect, coordinate, and collaborate with other agencies, programs, and community contacts as a regional ambassador.
- Oversee the successful operations of the assigned programs.
- Develop, communicate, and implement the vision, strategy, and goals of the programs, delegating to the Program Manager for successful daily operations.
- Set the program bed day requirements and communicate these to the Program Manager.
- Provide leadership to the Program Manager.
- Develop and establish partnerships with departments across 180 Degrees to include Quality, Advancement, Operations, and Human Resources.
- Ensure the programs’ operations are compliant and aligned with the 180 Degrees organization.
- Communicate statutory or licensing updates to the Program Manager effectively and timely; confirm the program adopted the changes as applicable.
- Collaborate with departments to create consistency in messaging, accountability, and timelines; communicate information to Program Manager effectively and timely, and using a variety of communication channels.

- Excellent communication skills, public speaking skills, and storytelling skills; eagerness to engage in community outreach to develop relationships and maintain existing relationships.
- Excellent active listening skills to understand the needs and concerns of the community and partners.
- Understand, promote, and communicate using the 180 Degrees brand; develop flyers, newsletters, reports, emails, etc. using the 180 Degrees brand.
- Skilled at making cold calls to potential external partners and community members.
- Networking skills to connect with local leaders, organizations, and external stakeholders; skilled at establishing credibility and rapport with diverse communities.
- Ability to identify issues and gaps in the community and with external partners, and propose methods to address the issues and close the gaps.
- Coordinate the on-site community room schedule, calendar, events, timelines, staff, and resources; promote the community room and host events regularly.
- Thorough understanding of local and state policies and their impact on the community.
- Ability to develop budget, bed day goals, and program goals, and lead the team to achieve the goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, social services, psychology, or a related field and five years’ experience working in a social service setting
- Master’s degree in social work or related degree strongly preferred
- Hold a professional license, such as LSW or LPCC
- Expertise in data analysis, program evaluation, and budgeting
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to independently visit program sites and conduct community outreach in Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Rochester, and across the state as needed
