We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Executive Assistant to the President who will serve as a trusted partner in supporting the President’s leadership of the college. This is more than a support role—it’s an opportunity to help shape the college’s success by managing high-level communications, strategy, and operations with precision and professionalism.

Position Duties

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the President’s primary point of contact for scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
  • Maintain a strategic, efficient, and protective calendar, ensuring appropriate pacing and preparation time.
  • Draft and edit professional correspondence, memos, emails, talking points, and presentations.
  • Prepare the President for meetings, media interviews, and public engagements by providing briefings and materials.
  • Manage Board of Trustees logistics, including meetings, travel, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Safeguard confidential information and ensure all communications align with the President’s voice and vision.
  • Track and coordinate progress reports on institutional projects and initiatives led by the President’s Office.
  • Manage the President’s Office budget, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Support the President with technology and presentation delivery in the office and Board room.
  • Help facilitate the President’s acclimation to internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of college operations to triage inquiries and guide visitors appropriately.

Other Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-level administrative support role, preferably in higher education or a professional setting.
  • Experience with budget management and board logistics preferred
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with productivity and project management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage fast-paced, high-stakes environments with professionalism and calm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting for executive audiences.
