We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Executive Assistant to the President who will serve as a trusted partner in supporting the President’s leadership of the college. Position Duties
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the President’s primary point of contact for scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
- Maintain a strategic, efficient, and protective calendar, ensuring appropriate pacing and preparation time.
- Draft and edit professional correspondence, memos, emails, talking points, and presentations.
- Prepare the President for meetings, media interviews, and public engagements by providing briefings and materials.
- Manage Board of Trustees logistics, including meetings, travel, documentation, and correspondence.
- Safeguard confidential information and ensure all communications align with the President’s voice and vision.
- Track and coordinate progress reports on institutional projects and initiatives led by the President’s Office.
- Manage the President’s Office budget, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
- Support the President with technology and presentation delivery in the office and Board room.
- Help facilitate the President’s acclimation to internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain a broad understanding of college operations to triage inquiries and guide visitors appropriately.

Other Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a high-level administrative support role, preferably in higher education or a professional setting.
- Experience with budget management and board logistics preferred
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with productivity and project management tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage fast-paced, high-stakes environments with professionalism and calm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting for executive audiences.
