Role: Technical Trainer - CDC
Division: VTI
Function: VTI Aftermarket - Support Services - Competency Development Center
Reporting into: Lead- CDC
Level: M3
Purpose of the Role
This position exists in order to drive Competence Development initiatives for Volvo Bus Aftermarket Network through Qualitative & Quantitative measurable parameters and to partner with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to lead all developmental activities with the objective of creating a skilled workforce for bus AM within the objectives of meeting functional and organizational requirements.

BE - Automobile / Mechanical
Experience
Relevant Experience of 3 - 6 years
Business Understanding
- Understanding of the Training needs & product knowledge to deliver the pieces of training.
- Understanding of the latest technologies and regulations impacting vehicle service norms.
Area of Responsibility
Technical Training Delivery
Impart Technical Training on Volvo Bus products and systems from product orientation level till diagnostics level for all stakeholders.concerned using available Volvo resources like Vehicle, aggregates, tools, systems, & methodologies based on Training plan created for the Network. In order to meet the Training objectives set aside by the Training Function as well as meeting competency objectives of Workshop manpower.

Training Assessments & Audits for Bus Workshops
Plan and execute Assessments for all Bus Training Modules & BKT Program at CDC as well across the Network by preparing Assessment methodology, Questions & Tasks, result criteria and identification of Competency gaps for future competence enhancement. Skill Mapping Audits for Bus Workshops to evaluate the Competence of Workshop Technicians and plan Training Need Identification with the support of Regional Trainers. In order to measure the Training effectiveness of Bus Trainings delivered and enable/facilitate Workshops to ensure correct staffing of Technicians based on their Competence Levels & Job levels.

Training Content & Training Aids development
Develop training modules, presentations, & other Training aids for the enhancement of learning during the Bus Training Programs. In order to Make the Training delivery uniform across the Network, and to ensure that the information is meeting the updated products and processes pertaining to India Market.
