About the Role: Software Developer I
The Team: The Digital Workplace Integration and Solutions team is committed to providing employees with a transformational working environment. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to impact the entirety of S&P Global. This role supports the growth and evolution of a modern workplace, driving new opportunities to expand the services and capabilities of the team.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Develop custom applications and enhance DevOps processes as part of the Digital Workplace Integration and Solutions team.
Support software development, design, and improve application testability with minimal supervision.
Assist with major project initiatives, enhancements, analysis, and day-to-day support.
Employ a flexible, agile approach to meet changing business needs.
Utilize technologies such as REST APIs, C#, ReactJS/Web Frontend Development, and SQL.
Collaborate with agile teams to analyze system requirements and ensure project alignment.
Drive initiatives and take ownership to see them through to realization.
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and data structures.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, preferably Agile methodologies.
Hands-on development skills with C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) concepts and data management.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with DevOps tools.
Resourceful with a can-do attitude.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
