Position Overview

As the Senior Director, Media Intelligence, you will be responsible for leading the agency’s media intelligence specialty in the Insights, Data and Intelligence practice. This includes developing media measurement frameworks, delivering data-driven strategies, and integrating innovative tools to optimize client campaigns. You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that inform business and communication strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of performance measurement, data analytics and research methodologies across multiple channels, including digital, media, and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Define and implement best practices for measurement, analytics, and insights across all client programs.
    • Lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and business impact.
    • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients and internal teams on data and measurement-related matters.
  • Data Analytics & Insights
    • Develop and oversee performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting structures.
    • Analyze media, digital, and social performance data to generate insights that drive strategy and optimize results.
    • Utilize a variety of research and analytics tools to track trends, measure campaign success, and forecast performance.
  • Innovation & Technology
    • Identify and implement innovative data solutions, technologies, and methodologies to enhance measurement capabilities.
    • Collaborate with technology partners to enhance the agency’s data and intelligence offerings.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, predictive analytics, and emerging measurement tools.
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership
    • As a senior leader in the Insights, Data & Intelligence team, mentor the team of data analysts, researchers, and measurement specialists.
    • Work closely with account teams, creative, and strategy departments to ensure data-driven decision-making.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Insights, Data & Intelligence team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in data analytics, measurement, or intelligence, preferably within a communications, marketing, or media agency.
  • Proven expertise in developing measurement frameworks and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics, media measurement, social listening, and research methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with analytics platforms such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Cision, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI and other data intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
